Katriina Marja Kuusela,

Finland

Katriina Marja Kuusela is a Finnish MSc in Marketing and Advertising student, who has found that the course at LSBF has fully prepared her for the fast-paced world of marketing, giving her the academic knowledge and practical skills to deal with any challenges that come her way. Katriina is expected to graduate in 2012, but has already started work as a Marketing and Sales Assistant for a company that offers renewable energy solutions. The MSc at LSBF, which allowed her to choose her own pathway in Global Brand Management, has given her the skills to put her well on her way towards her goal of becoming the manager of a prestigious international brand. “I chose the Marketing course at LSBF because it suited my needs best and I was impressed that I could choose my own pathway to tailor the course to my specific career ambitions. I got more insight into the world of marketing than I could have imagined. Having the qualifications has put me exactly where I want to be, working in an exciting industry in a fast-paced environment." Having the qualifications gives me far more influence than I had previously. Studying at LSBF has made me more capable and given me more confidence. I have completed a challenging Master’s programme that has given me the courage to openly accept any challenges that I am presented with.” What's your advice for new students? Always remain competitive. The drive to succeed and be the best that you can be is very important – it helps to motivate you during your studies and at work.
