Katharina Bojar,

Germany

Katharina awaits the results of her dissertation after having achieved a distinction in the taught part of the programme and is currently undertaking an internship in a legal practice Dr. Frühbeck Abogados in Germany. She is aiming for an international legal career. "Given my career aspirations of becoming part of an international legal office team, I chose the LLM degree in International Business Law. In particular I have chosen the Master in International Business Law at LSBF on the basis of its academic reputation and the availability of an extensive range of courses that perfectly suit my interests. In lectures I learned how to develop an understanding of the business environment in which law firms and their clients operate. Students are expected to emerge not only as good lawyers, but also as sound business advisors. The LLM in International Business Law, being a vocationally orientated degree that combines theoretical and practical learning, allowed me to better understand the principles of economic procedures. It was a pleasure to experience an academically innovative character of teaching and to profit from the opportunity of discovering another way of collaborating, working and thinking. LSBF met and even exceeded all my expectations." What's your advice for new students? "Grasp the opportunity to follow the course; the LLM in International Business Law at LSBF is a uniquely tailored programme directing you to become one of the best business lawyers."
