On Tuesday 3rd October, we held our Graduation Ceremony at the Church of St. Andrew in Holborn, London, to proudly celebrate our graduating class of 2023. We welcomed around 200 staff members, family and friends to join us in celebrating the academic achievements of our students. It was a joyous occasion filled with pride and recognition for our hardworking students and the incredible milestones that they have reached so far.
The ceremony began with a speech from Casandra Pine, Host and Business Operations Manager at LSBF. Casandra Pine spoke about the initial steps needed to build a more promising future for our graduates. This was followed by the keynote speech by Rector Professor Maurits van Rooijen, who described the journeys our previous graduates have taken. Professor Maurits emphasised that innovation is an integral part of education at LSBF and something students will take into their future careers.
After graduates were handed their certificates, the ceremony concluded with a meaningful speech from Karina Kizhner, Managing Director, and Vice-Rector at LSBF. She discussed work life balance, commitment, dedication and the relationships LSBF students have created with their peers across diverse backgrounds. Karina Kizhner also talked about the digital revolution and how AI is changing the way we work, communicate and live. She encouraged graduates to embrace these changes. In closing, Karina Kizhner thanked the friends and family of LSBF’s graduates.
The event was also an opportunity to recognise our dedicated staff, tutors, and faculty members. Their tireless efforts did not go unnoticed, and they played an integral role in shaping our students and preparing them for this special occasion and the rest of their lives. Their teaching abilities were instrumental in guiding our students to success, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will use for years to come.

Our students’ achievements this year are a testament to our commitment to world-class education. We are so proud to watch another cohort of students from around the world get one step closer to their professional dreams.
