PQ Awards are promoted by the leading publication PQ Magazine, and they have been created to recognise excellence in providing training solutions and the latest teaching methods.

LSBF is committed to delivering quality accountancy training through the latest technologies and supporting students in their professional development. This year the institution has been shortlisted for:

  • Online College of the Year: LSBF Online
  • Study Resource of the Year: LSBF ACCA Live Online
  • PQ of the Year: Eliot James

“At LSBF we work to introduce ground-breaking education and PQ Awards always look at a wide spectrum of features in accountancy training, rewarding innovations and results. Being nominated as Online College of the Year and for Study Resource of the Year legitimates our decision to focus on delivery methods that keep up with the digital world we live in.

“LSBF Online has been a pioneering platform for ACCA, CIMA, and AAT courses since its inception. Integrating teaching excellence with online technology, we can bring the classroom experience to students anywhere in the world and the ACCA Live Online is only one example of the effective way we do it,” said Rob Sowerby, Professional Courses Director.

With awards for newly and part-qualified accountants across the private and public sectors, PQ Awards also recognise learners’ achievements.

LSBF will be represented in the PQ of the Year category by Eliot James, an ACCA student looking to become a certified accountant. Eliot was working for KPMG Trinidad and Tobago as an Audit Intern when he returned to full-time study and has recently joined Deloitte London as a Senior Associate.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on Tuesday 20 February.
