Distance learner achieves top marks in ACCA paper with LSBF Online

London, 26 October 2017 - Zain Munir A. Malik, an online student at London School of Business and Finance, has been commended by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for being one of the top achievers in this September’s P6 Advanced UK Taxation paper.

Mr Malik is a senior auditor at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s office in Jeddah. He has been working with the Big Four firm since 2013, starting as an assistant auditor and working his way up to his current role.

His story of career progression with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu goes hand-in-hand with his learning relationship with LSBF.

“Two years ago I studied for a few papers with LSBF, and I was very happy with the result,” he said. “Later I managed to pass P2, P3, and P7 by self-studying, but then I decided to go back to LSBF for P6, as Advanced UK Taxation was a new subject for me.”

Studying throughout June to take the September sitting, Mr Malik opted for the LSBF Online ACCA Live Tuition & Live Revision package as he recognised the importance of having tutorial support for such a challenging professional paper.

Mr Malik was rewarded for his efforts with a mark of 62 on P6 and a special mention from ACCA. “I am very happy for this recognition,” he said. “Many students don’t pass the P6 the first time and it is a great feeling for me to have been able to do so, especially while working full time.”
