London School of Business and Finance’s accountancy faculty, students, resources and programmes have, for another consecutive year, been nominated for the PQ Magazine Awards, which confer accolades to the best institutions, teachers, materials, students and learning platforms in the accountancy market. Following a year of development and significant investment in new programmes, facilities and resources, LSBF and its official e-learning partner InterActive were shortlisted with a total of five nominations in categories such as Innovation in Accountancy, Study Resource of the Year and others.
Organised annually by the PQ Magazine, the event is one of the most important accolades in the accountancy industry in the UK. The PQ Awards 2015 ceremony will take place in London in February 2015.
This year, reflecting investments in new programmes and academic development, LSBF and InterActive were shortlisted in the following categories:
- Accountancy Lecturer of the Year: David Laws;
- Study Resource of the Year: AAT Online (Powered by InterActive);
- Innovation in Accountancy: ACCA for School Leavers;
- Newly-Qualified (NQ) Accountant of the Year: Kyle Tyrrell;
- Part-Qualified (PQ) Accountant of the Year: Dhananhay Pandit.
Rob Sowerby, Director of Professional Training Programmes, said: “Being nominated after another consecutive year is truly amazing. It’s a great achievement for our students to be acknowledged as some of the emerging talent in the field. It is also fantastic to see LSBF and InterActive succeeding in PQ Awards year on year. I look forward to building up on this success in 2015.”
