London, 27th August 2013 - As part of its sustained effort to expand access to executive, high-quality education worldwide, LSBF is pleased to launch a miniMBA Executive Development Week in London.
The five-day programme is part of LSBF's Global Executive Development Series and will run from 30th September – 3rd October this year. It is tailored for ambitious professionals striving for career acceleration. Participants will be able to establish a holistic overview of business management on a very senior level.
The first four days of the course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, presentations, workshops, role-playing and sector specific case studies. The week will conclude with a leadership conference and networking event on day five.
Programme Director, Dr Tim O'Connor has extensive experience working with a diverse range of industrial and commercial clients. He has also published a range of materials on specialised learning, leadership, recruitment and creative problem solving.
Programme focus areas include managing yourself and others, leading high performance teams, the fundamentals of finance and budgeting, guiding business growth and inspiring and managing change.
Anton Baboglo, Managing Director of LSBF's Business School says: "The miniMBA programme embodies the evolution of LSBF's portfolio. This new programme expands our existing course offering aimed at highly ambitious working professionals into the realm of senior executive development. miniMBA is well suited for candidates with years of experience but without formal education in business as well as participants that may have completed their MBA degree many years back.
Our ultimate objective is to create a platform for idea exchange and cross-industry networking that should give valuable insight into strategic leadership in action. We then help participants to internalise these insights and translate them into their business practice."
Prospective students for the miniMBA in Leadership and Management will need a minimum of 5 years' management experience and confident business English.
The miniMBA Executive Development week marks another important and innovative step by LSBF to reach an even bigger audience and give business leaders the chance to gain access to our programmes from anywhere in the world.
