LSBF Advertised over 1,000 Work Placements for Students in 2011

As part of LSBF’s commitment to the on-going professional development of its students, LSBF’s Career and Corporate Division has secured and advertised more than 1,000 work opportunities for its students since the start of 2011.

Thanks to the strong links the team has developed with leading businesses such as Société Générale, Dow Jones, Mercedes-Benz and Ranstad, LSBF students have access to advertised jobs which are promoted bi-weekly via LSBF's job wire, or emailed directly to postgraduate, undergraduate and professional students.

The Career's and Corporate team play an important role giving professional support and advice, establishing relationships with global employers and securing internships and graduate opportunities for LSBF students. The team works alongside LSBF's network of over 400 global partners to provide exceptional opportunities for students and to ensure that they are ready to achieve success and to stand out in the competitive marketplace.

Nadim Choudhury, Head of Careers Services & Employability at LSBF, said: "This year has seen a dramatic growth in the number of opportunities LSBF students have received from leading companies. We will build on this success throughout 2012, and continue all efforts to strengthen our relationships with employers to ensure LSBF becomes a preferred choice for recruiting international talent."

According to Mr Choudhury, the positions advertised range from internships to graduate positions in the UK, Europe and Asia, across 400 businesses within the last year.
