TEDxSquareMile to host City of London conference

TEDxSquareMile, partner of LSBF Executive Education, will be hosting a conference in the City of London later this month.

TEDxSquareMile is a subset of the TED organisation, and encourages volunteers from the local community to create events to spark conversation, connection and community.

The School of Tomorrow

This year will be the fifth edition of the annual TEDxSquareMile event, which is always held in the City of London. The conference is called The School of Tomorrow and will explore the question “What is the future of education and learning?”.

The event will visit ideas surrounding the relationship between technology and education, the delivery of content, and much more.

Guest speakers include global editorial director of Reuters TV Joanna Webster, author and filmmaker

Dave Cornthwaite, and co-founder of Synergized Earth Network, Seren Dalkiran. The speakers will present talks lasting up to 18 minutes each.

Each of the talks will be available online at the TEDx Talks YouTube channel after the event.

Networking

Tickets to the event are available to purchase now, costing £80.24. Included in this price is full day attendance to the conference, the opportunity to network with the speakers and sponsors, access to an interactive area, and lunch and hot drinks.

The event will take place on 18 March at the City of London School on Queen Victoria Street, next to the Millennium Bridge and near to St Paul’s Cathedral.
