Finalists for NatWest everywoman Awards announced

Over 20 female finalists for this year’s NatWest everywoman Awards have been announced. The awards, which is in its 14th year, celebrate the success of female entrepreneurs in Britain, from women who are running an early-stage business to those who own a more established organisation.

This year’s finalists are from a diverse range of industries, including design, technology, professional services and manufacturing, and were selected for their drive, their appetite for risk and their focus on growing their business.

The finalists will be competing for awards such as The Artemis Award, The Demeter Award, The Athena Award and The Hera Award, which are presented to inspirational women who have been running businesses for varying lengths of time, from early-stage businesses to businesses that have been operating over ten years.

There is also The Iris Award, which celebrates women who use technology in an innovative and disruptive way; The Aphrodite Award, which will be awarded to a mumpreneur; and Brand of the Future, which is for an entrepreneur who is running a company that has huge potential for growth.

Commenting on the finalists, everywoman Co-Founder Maxine Benson MBE said: “The ambition, success and humility of our finalists make them all strong accessible role models for other women and girls considering starting their own business. Gender has never been a barrier to great ideas or initiatives and this year’s finalists bear that out. The winners of the categories will be announced at an awards lunch at The Dorchester Hotel on Wednesday 7th December.
