Barclays searching for top female talent in North West

Barclays is searching for female business talent in the North West region for the bank’s Celebrating North West Women in Business Awards 2017.

The awards will be recognising women and female-led businesses that have made a difference in business over the past year, with finalists being given the opportunity to attend an awards lunch at Tatton Park, Knutsford on Thursday 6 July.

Categories

Barclays will be searching for talented women in a number of categories for this year’s awards, including Woman of the Year SME Business (for businesses with a turnover up to £20 million), Woman of the Year Medium Business (with a turnover of £20 million to £50 million) and Woman of the Year Large Business (with a turnover of over £50 million).

There is also a Woman of the Year Professional or Not for Profit award and an opportunity for young, talented females under the age of 35 to win the Rising Star award. The awards will also be celebrating businesses that are supporting diversity with the Most Supportive Business Promoting Diversity & Citizenship Award.

Exceptional

The awards will be celebrating exceptional women that have made a difference to business in the past 12 months through their leadership, mentoring skills and entrepreneurialism.

Earlier this month, Barclays announced the line-up of speakers for the awards, with Barclays CEO Wealth and Investment Management Dena Brumpton and motivational speaker, professional adventurer and serial entrepreneur Debra Searle MVO, MBE set to deliver keynote speeches.
