Tech website and quarterly magazine BusinessCloud is searching for the top 150 tech start-ups in the UK.
Nominations are now being accepted, with at least 12 start-ups to be selected from each UK region.
Nominations
The organisation is looking for businesses that are using technology to disrupt a traditional industry or creating/selling a tech-based product.
They must have been operating for less than five years, be based in the UK, fast-growing, and able to be scaled-up. Nominations should include information such as location and why the start-up stands out from other businesses.
The businesses will be selected by a panel of judges, which will also select six additional start-ups to be included in the special awards.
Start-ups
BusinessCloud Editor Chris Maguire said: “Start-ups are the lifeblood of business, especially in the technology sector.”
He added that what is different about their list is that they are casting their net across the UK; when it comes to tech, they know that London and the South East are thriving, but other regions such as the South West, Midlands and North West are too.
They are aware that the tech sector is buoyant in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland, and they wish to recognise them all.
