Regus has announced the opening of its second business centre in West Yorkshire.
The new business centre is based in Halifax and will provide flexible workspace for start-up businesses and remote workers.
Growing demand
This announcement comes just a few months after the company opened a business centre in Wakefield.
Regus UK CEO Richard Morris stated at the time that the centre will “cater to the growing demand amongst the city’s professionals for more flexible, cost-effective workspace”, adding that Wakefield is a “prime spot” for businesses looking for a “well-connected, up-and-coming location.”
The new Halifax centre covers three floors of Fearnley Mill, and will provide many advantages for small businesses and remote workers in the town.
A thriving space
The centre will offer similar features to the Wakefield site, including a drop-in business lounge, meeting rooms, and over 40 offices with more than 180 workstations. Businesses will be able to book meeting rooms by the hour.
“We’re delighted to announce that our first Halifax location is open for business. The town is fast establishing itself as a thriving business destination […] so it’s only right that it features in our UK expansion plans,” Morris said.
