The organisers of a new business hub are looking for entrepreneurs who are interested in joining the programme. Entrepreneurial Spark and NatWest will be opening the hub in Milton Keynes at the bank’s Silbury Boulevard branch in August.
The hub is one of many UK business hatcheries that Entrepreneurial Spark is opening to provide help to startups with the development of their business.
Space
The new hatchery will provide many opportunities for businesses, including mentoring, networking, free support and office space with superfast internet. There will be accommodation for up to 80 startup businesses.
Companies will also be able to attend a startup “bootcamp”, which will include regular workshops, events and free training.
Entrepreneurial Spark will also be giving businesses the opportunity to participate in its “Secret Sauce” enablement programme, which will help them to learn about what makes a successful entrepreneurial leader.
Desire
Entrepreneurial Spark is looking for applications from businesses from any sector. Early-stage businesses are being welcomed, along with companies that are already trading. Ideally, those who apply must have a “strong desire” to grow and scale their business.
KPMG Director and Head of Enterprise Dave Simpson commented on the new hub, stating: “It’s great news that there is a new Entrepreneurial Spark hatchery coming to Milton Keynes.”
In addition to Milton Keynes, Entrepreneurial Spark has recently added Cardiff and Newcastle to its list of UK hatcheries. The company is also accepting applications for its Birmingham, Brighton and Bristol hatcheries for August.
