UK’s highest paid part-time jobs revealed

UK’s highest paid part-time jobs revealed

The UK’s highest paid part-time jobs have been revealed in new research from jobs review website Glassdoor.

The company gathered the data by looking at the total median annual base salaries for part-time workers in the UK. Whilst not every job listed is only part-time, the company used data on part-time workers.

Opportunities

The research revealed a wide range of high-paid employment opportunities for part-time workers, from business analyst and research analyst to office assistant and warehouse worker.

Lecturer was named the highest paid part-time role out of the compiled list of jobs, offering a median salary of £36,513.

Commenting on the role, Glassdoor Head of International, Diarmuid Russell, said in a statement: “Lecturers are often successful business people or entrepreneurs in their own right, brought in for specific experience in the world of business, politics and the arts.”

Business analyst came in second, with a median salary of £28,800, whilst research analyst was named the third highest paid part-time job at £21,370.

Teaching assistant, warehouse worker and tutor also featured on the list, offering a median salary of £20,300, £16,800 and £16,500 respectively.

Other high-paid roles include brand ambassador, beauty consultant, office assistant, front desk manager and store manager.

Balance

Commenting on the advantage of part-time job roles, Russell said: “Part-time work can be a great way to give people the ability to combine work with time to enjoy other interests, whether it's to improve work-life balance, create more time for family or earn extra money whilst studying.”
